SOUTH ITALIAN BOLOGNESE
Ingredients:
(2) lbs of ground beef
(1) yellow onion
(3) carrots
(3) celery
(2) cups of whole milk
(2) cups of dry red wine
(2) 24 cups of dry red wine
(2) 24 oz jars of strained tomatoes
(2) tablespoons of olive oil
(2) tablespoons of butter
Garlic powder
Fresh ground sea salt
Fresh ground pepper
Fresh parmigiano reggiano (optional)
Directions:
Sauté 1/2-1 chopped onion in olive oil and butter.
After onions are translucent, add 3 chopped celery and 3 chopped carrots.
Add 2 lbs of responsibly raised beef, cook until there's no more pink in beef.
Sprinkle in garlic powder, sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
Add 2 cups of whole milk. Cook until evaporated + add 2 cups of red wine. Cook until evaporated.
Stir, and cook low uncovered stirring consistently for 3 hours.
Once done, add additional seasoning to taste.
Serve over cooked, al dente pasta.
Sprinkle fresh parmigiano reggiano cheese on top, and enjoy!
